New Wrestling Web Site

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve started a new web site focused on wrestling, judo, and grappling/mma called Matside Hawaii. The site is intended to be an information resource for the sport(s) we hold so dear, yet get so little coverage from the local media. It’s also a bit of an experiment in community journalism, as the site will only be successful if the community it serves is willing to make contributions in the way of event updates/reporting, pictures, video, etc..

The format of the site is pretty basic, but will evolve as content (hopefully) starts to come in from the community. Please help spread the word, especially with the wrestling community beyond Punahou. We have our little home on the web here, and I’d really like to get balanced wrestling coverage from the other leagues and highlight the great effort & talent that’s out there.
