Girls Win on Maui

The girls kicked off their 2009-2010 season right where the left off last year — with a big win. With eight medalists — including six individual champions — the girls won the Maui Invitational by a 35 point margin over second place Lahainaluna. Overall, the coaches were very satisfied with the level of wrestling demonstrated by the team. Experienced or not, winning or losing,?everyone wrestled aggressive, up-tempo matches that bode well for the rest of the season.
Congratulations also go out to Chrissy (125 & below) and Mindy (130 & above) Chow, who were named the tournament?s outstanding girl wrestlers.
